Cal Expo announced the cancellation of this year’s 4th of July fireworks celebration due to risks associated with the COVID-19 pandemic and to save valuable budgetary resources in these financially uncertain times.

However, in order to preserve and celebrate the essence of the 4th of July, Cal Expo is expanding our Food Festival To-Go program to include more offerings and fair-goer favorites on Friday, July 3. Additionally, Cal Expo will have a pickup area at the California Letters for pre-ordered Independence Day light-up toys for individuals and families to celebrate the 4th of July at home. On Friday, July 3, fair-goers will be able to drive through and receive an expanded menu of turkey legs, corn dogs, bacon-wrapped hot dogs, and kettle corn just in time for the holiday celebration.
