Ana Lisa Hedstrom taught a two-day course featuring shibori, the Japanese tradition of shaped resist dyeing, where students learned a variety of techniques. The workshop served as the first in a series during the Susan Cooley-Gilliom Artist in Residence & Teaching Program, which ran throughout the month and was supported by the Placer Community Foundation through an endowed gift made in memory of Susan by her family.
