Sacramento Food Film Festival: Women in the Industry

April 14

Sierra 2 Center, Sacramento

The Sacramento Food Film Festival’s premier event focused on women in the industry and featured a screening of A Fine Line by Joanna James, which explores why only six percent of head chefs and restaurant owners are women, when traditionally they’ve always held the central role in the kitchen. In addition to hearing perspectives and experiences from world-renowned chefs in the film, female chefs prepared bites for guests.
