Body of Art

Movement, graceful flowing forms, and twirling dancer’s bodies will fill the Gallery at 48 Natoma in the exhibit, “Body of Art,” with photography by Tony Nguyen and metal shadow sculptures by Myra Cooper Holmes. Tony Nguyen specializes in beautiful body forms portrayed in his dance images and Myra Cooper Holmes creates kinetic wire mesh shadow sculptures. The exhibit will be open to the public from July 16 to September 30, 2021. Also, during this time in the Community Gallery, artwork from the faculty art instructors at the Folsom Art Center will be on display.

The Gallery at 48 Natoma is located at 48 Natoma Street in Folsom and is managed by the Folsom Parks and Recreation Department and displays art by regional and national professional artists, area museum collections and traveling exhibitions; offering high quality, original art exhibits to the community that otherwise may not be experienced in this area.
