Join the El Dorado Travelers as they visit Black Chasm Caverns, a spectacular living limestone cavern located in Volcano. In 1976 Congress declared the site a National Natural Landmark due to the vast array of rare helictite formations found inside the caverns. Your walking tour departs from the Visitor Center and descends into the cave approximately 100 feet below the surface. You will view 3 chambers in the upper levels of this vertical cave where the most amazing formations grow. You will also do some gem mining and enjoy a Nature Hike. Lunch will be at the Ione Hotel.
